shops and restaurants. Follow the coast road towards to Port and you will travel along rocky beach ideal for walking and fishing. Hidden along the coast are coves and bays, ideal for snorkelling and diving.
The old town of Javea is traditionally Spanish and is situated a mile or so from the sea. It has narrow cobbled streets that lead to lovely old squares each surrounded by traditional townhouses. In this area historic buildings and ancient churches dominate the scenary.
The Port of Javea is like another town in itself. There are many shops, art galleries, a cinema, local fish markets and many bars and restaurants, specialising in fish dishes as well as the traditional and international choices. Many of them are along the Esplanade so the children can play safely whist you relax. All Spanish bars are child friendly; at all times of night children are welcome which saves the worry of finding a babysitter.
Moraira like most of the towns along the coast in this area is formerly a quaint fishing village with stunning views
across to "El peñon de Ifach" (the rock of Calpe). It has grown to become a
beautiful and sought after location for all year round living. It has lovely sandy beaches and rocky coves and is famous for its
fish restaurants situated on the seafront between the fish market and
the castle.
The impressive Marina area has an excellent variety of shops and the added attraction of many opportunities for water sports.

All of these wonderful towns are situated halfway between both Alicante and Valencia airports, just of an hour away, making trips to the big citys easily accesible.
